Apple Support Experts Talk New Features of iOS7

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Gone forever are the gradients and the traditional, bubbly Apple ringtone. The bright fluorescent hues and new features of iOS7 have changed the digital landscape of the iPhone, iPad and iTouch forever. The Fort Worth computer support professionals at Computer CPR discuss a few of the simplified features iOS7 supplies.

We understand that change can be a tough pill to swallow, especially since Apple’s features have, for the most part, remained stagnant since its introduction of iOS in 2007. But sometimes, change is a good thing. Here’s a few changes we think are big upgrades from iOS6.

The Control Center. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the controls for airplane mode, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirDrop and Airplay. A flashlight toggle and shortcuts to the camera, clock and calculator can also be accessed.

Search Access. Just swipe down the center of your phone to search your Apple device with ease.

Picture-Hanging Help. Precision picture-hanging isn’t exactly on anyone’s priority list, but Apple decided to help the cause anyway. Open the compass app to access Apple’s built-in level.

Text Timestamps. Seen as an annoyance by many iPhone junkies, iOS have never revealed the exact time each text message was sent or received. iOS7 users can now view the timestamp of each message by grabbing a speech bubble in the message thread and swiping to the left.

Call/Text/Facetime Blocking: Finally, iPhone users can avoid contact with whomever they please. Just got to Settings, select Phone, Messages or Facetime and click Blocked.
